About the artists
LIFE PARTNERS (Mike Dupuy and Dave Dougan) started back at the turn of the millennium and has featured various lineups over the years. Mike & Dave thank you all for your service. Currently a duo due to quarantine, the last time we played in public (September 2019) the band featured our drummer of many years Andy Tefft, and our sometimes trombonist Jeb Bishop. More often than not we play rock and roll. But not always! When we aren't rocking, you can usually find us at Mike's store Streetcar Wine & Beer in Jamaica Plain. Currently offering curbside pickup and delivery to Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, West Roxbury, Roslindale & Brookline!

LUKE DAMROSCH is a Boston-based recording engineer who focuses both on classical, choral, and other traditional acoustic music as well as new/experimental music. In addition to freelance recording and sound engineering work at Harvard University, he is one of Non-Event's regular recording engineers. Although he has rarely performed in the past 10 years, his original training was as a percussionist, with a background in Jazz and improvised music, studying under Chico Hamilton, Reggie Workman, and Andrew Cyrille, among others. As a drummer, his primary interests include polyrhythm as the basis for a musical vocabulary, and subordinating formal and metric structures to "phrase logic."
