About the artists

PVHP (Premium Velvet Headache Pillow) is a band that plays compositions by Olivia W-B, pulling influence from skramz, doom, free, noise, and cartoon soundtracks. The music is about the brutality of the mundane - the almost laughable existential anxiety of a human seeking pleasure against the backdrop of late capitalism, alienation, exploitation, and ecological devastation.

Olivia W-B also does vocals in Rong and helps organize Find Out, a monthly series of new art and music in Jamaica Plain.
